Stars in my eyes . . .

Hello there my long lost friends. If it seems that I have been missing in action, well, then it is true! I have found a pleasant distraction lately and his name is Edward. I am infatuated and loving it! Forget the fact that he is in love with a girl named Bella! I am more like a voyeur watching in on their relationship.

Before you think that I have completely lost it - I am talking about the Twilight Series by Stephanie Meyer.

I do not know how I can put this to you any more clearly.

YOU.MUST.READ.THESE.BOOKS!!!!!

They are so great!! I am serious, I have not been addicted to a book (or books) like this in a long time, actually ever. I don't know if this means that I am going through some sort of 1/3 life crisis but, it makes my heart beat faster just reading about the situations in Meyer's books! They are AWESOME!!!!

So, if you are bored, sick, depressed, looking for something to do in your (nonexistent) spare time, start reading these books!!! As I told my neighbor who I lent a copy to, "let your love affair begin tonight!!" LOL!

Here, I will make this very easy for you, all you have to do is go to here and purchase them now. You will want all three because, well, it hasn't even been a week since I got my hands on Twilight and I am already halfway through the third one. When, I finish, I seriously think that I am going to start all over and read them again, more slowly! LOL!

**For those of you who have already read the books, I don't know if you knew this but Stephanie Meyer has a website with additional chapters that were removed during the editing process and new chapters that she actually wrote in response to readers questions. How cool is that?! If that isn't enough, she is also working on a new book written from Edward's perspective AND she has the first chapter on her website!!! Go!! NOW!! :) :)

Yeah, for a girly romance type novel aimed at teenagers, it's actually pretty good.

Not my usual reading fare, but I can see why my wife has left me for another man/book/series temporarily. LOL

I love that you're addicted. I am too! I'm a Jacob fan--I know I'm the only one!

I know it's not the best written literature out there, but it's great brain dead fun. The pages turn themselves, and us mommys sometimes need that!

I love the cover!!! and I am a believer that you can judge a book by its cover. So I will have to give this book a try!!! Thanks for the recomendation.

Good job, way to join the rest of the world. I'm actually all for Jacob. I identify with him. Not that I'm a werewolf, but I was always the best friend, and the guy always liked someone else. (sniff sniff).

Wow, I'm so glad I'm not the only Jacob fan. How reassuring. That said, Edward is very steamy too. Poor Bella, what's a girl with two romantic fellas in love with her to do???? This is why I love fiction. Wouldn't it be great if seriously that was the worst thing you had to worry about everyday. Oh, and being chased by vampires too I guess. Maybe I wouldn't want that one.

Hi Zoe. I know what you're thinking...who is this? Well, it's none other than Ashley McKinnon. I started to blog. Can you believe it? I remembered your blog name and found it. I was so excited. Anywho, about the books...everyone I know is reading them. I guess I need to get my hands on a copy. One problem....I HATE READING. What to do? Who knows, maybe this series will change me. Talk to you soon. Visit my sorry excuse for a blog at amillionlittlequestionssolittletime.blogspot.com (I know...it's a long one)

Okay, Zoe, don't listen to Lisa--Edward is THE guy! How can you rule out someone who has eyes like liquid gold!;) I loved these books too. I was so excited I didn't find out about them until she came out with the third one because I thought I could read ALL of them at once and then I realized--there are more books! Drat! I am doing an ATC swap with Twilight as the theme if you are interested???? http://www.swap-bot.com/swap/show/6463
