Isn't This FUN!?

Well, it is official. My body has finally crapped out on me! I am so embarrassed/sad/frustrated/angry! It is a little bit sensitive to talk about. So, feel free to laugh at this situation because I have certainly tried to.
Okay, well, aside from all of the normal aches and pains of being pregnant, I have had this butt problem. (You can see why I haven't been eager to blog about it before!) Yes, I have a butt muscle that chooses not to cooperate. This has been going on for a few months now but I have managed to walk and function through the pain. Well, since being here in Texas, I think that I have crossed the line. I CANNOT walk anymore. Seriously. It hurts so bad just to lift, move, or put any pressure on my right leg. I could tell that it was serious when shopping didn't even appeal to me.
So, I am now hulled up in bed, having to depend on my family for everything and anything. I even need help getting to the toilet!! It is frustrating because, I thought that my body was stronger than this!! I don't like being this way at all. I called the Dr.'s office in Utah and they said, "Umm, you need physical therapy." The problem is getting back home on Monday. I can't even hold Myles! So, I think that I am going to have to swallow my pride and go through the airport in a wheelchair. I am also bummed because there is no medication that they can give me . . . just a good ol' butt rubbing!! :)
I just thought that I would vent on some of my miseries while I am confined to the bed. I know, this will pass. I am just frustrated but at least I know that my little baby is healthy as he kicks me constantly to let me know that he is still there! :)

Hope your butt is healing soon!!! If it is the same muscle that cramped in my bum during labor of my last baby then I really feel for you!!! It was more painful than the contractions!!!!

oh, i know how you feel--at least to some degree. my baby boy was sitting (or dancing) on my sciatic nerve. for weeks i had to go to physical therapy because i could barely walk. i sat on the couch watching DVDs in the middle of a beautiful summer because of it. it was AWFUL. so painful and worse it was so hard to be so dependent!! the good news was that the physical therapy worked wonders!!!! fixed me right up. i hope it does the same for you. and quickly!

So sorry! I hope the therapy helps so you don't have to suffer the rest of your pregnancy. Take care!!! (yes, it will suck to go through the airport in a wheelchair, but take some pics and you can blog about it later!!!)

Hang in there, Zoe. You're in the home stretch now, aren't ya?

I hate when your body fails your expectations. You look at it like this seperate entity like "How dare you let me down! What're you doing?!" ... LOL.

Butt massage is da'bomb! Get hubby in on the action... My husband has always given me back massages and one time, just goofing around, he started kneading my butt cheeks. It felt so good that I now regularly request it. ROFLMAO. Enjoy yourself :D

Hugs Zoe. Sounds like a visit to the chiropractor might help. Don't you just love the way our bodies fall apart when we're pg? Lol.

Good luck at the airport. ;)

I am not laughing at all because I had a horrible butt cramp a lot during pregnancy. It REALLY hurts! Ouch!

Yeowch! That really stinks. I hope our babies appreciate what we go through for them.

On the other hand, I would love to have someone push me through the airport...extend the Vay-Cay just a little bit longer.

Oh, that is such a bummer! (Sorry, couldn't help myself!) I had sciatic nerve issues with my first, but not as bad. I really feel for you! Here's hoping you have a happier hiney soon!
