Looking forward to . . .

In all of the Christmas chaos, I forgot to mention a few of my favorite gifts. My dear mother gave me some gift certificates for a couple of online fabric stores, Sew Mama Sew! and Reproduction Fabrics. I have been searching these websites since Christmas - trying to find a way to limit my purchases to somewhere under $300!!! There is just sooo much amazing fabric out there. I think that I might be a fabric junky. I think that after I post this, I might just go searching for some kind of anonymous support group to help me through my addiction! :)

Yesterday, I finally narrowed down my purchase at Sew Mama Sew!. I am so excited for Denyse Schmidt's new pattern, Single Girl, to arrive!!

Let me just tell you, I saw this quilt and could not get it out of my head. I LOVE it. I haven't actually ever made a quilt via a professional pattern before, but this is just the thing to pull me out of my late funk. I am going for it. Yep, forget housework, forget exercise, forget the laundry - as soon as that pattern arrives, I am gettin' my scissors out. So, stay tuned for great things ahead.

I agree, I love it, too. Looking forward to seeing what you make of it. I, for one, cannot sew, so your sewing talent amazes me...... Woot.Woot.

Remember those curtains you made for Tori's room long, long ago?? Since they don't fit any of the windows in her new room, I sent them home with my sister to use in her little baby girls room! I just love them still and needed to see them go to good use with someone I loved! You were an amazing seamstress way back then soooo I KNOW you can pull this cool quilt off! Can't wait to see it!

Hey girl. I know this is a little late but thank you so much for the Christmas card. I was so behind with my cards this year, it was the one thing I didn't get done. I sent a few out to family and stuff but that was about it. Usually cards is the one thing I am on top of. Not this year.....

Anyways, I hope all is well with you. I am back from my blogging absense...I think. ha!
